550,000 COPIES SOLD ITS FIRST DAY:
CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI’S BRISINGR ACHIEVES BIGGEST ONE-DAY SALE IN
RANDOM HOUSE CHILDREN’S BOOKS HISTORY

September 23, 2008 (New York, NY)—On its first day on sale, BRISINGR, Book Three in Christopher Paolini’s Inheritance cycle, sold 550,000 hardcover copies, making it the greatest one-day sale ever recorded for a Random House Children’s Books title, hardcover or paperback, it was announced today by Chip Gibson, Random House Children’s Books, President and Publisher.

BRISINGR was published by Random House’s Alfred A. Knopf Books for Young Readers imprint in the U.S. and Canada on September 20th with a first printing of 2.5 million copies, the largest first-print run in the
publisher’s history.

The first day’s sales for BRISINGR are four times that of Eldest, the second novel in Paolini’s Inheritance cycle, which was published in August 2005.
The publisher reports that the hardcover sales are strong in every region of North America and in all channels of distribution, including independent retailers, bookstore chains, and mass merchandisers.

“We are thrilled with the first day’s sale of BRISINGR: the numbers have far surpassed our projections,” commented Mr. Gibson. “We are grateful to booksellers everywhere for this incredible success and look forward with them to continued sales of the Inheritance cycle books throughout the fall and into the holiday season.”

BRISINGR was also released simultaneously in the U.S. and Canada as an audiobook by Random House’s Listening Library audio division. Initial reports indicate that sales for the audiobook as well as the BRISINGR ebook are also strong.

The first-day sales have also broken all records for Random House Children’s Books in the UK, where it was published simultaneously. “BRISINGR is by far and away the fastest-selling book we’ve ever published and we’re delighted with the first weekend’s sales,” commented Helen Randles, RHCB UK Sales Director.

Paolini kicked off a ten-city book tour in New York City over the past weekend and he will be meeting fans in Toronto, Washington, DC, Miami, Detroit, Chicago, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles over the coming weeks.

Eragon, the first book in the series, has sold 6 million copies in hardcover and paperback in North America since its initial release in August 2003 and the second book, Eldest (2005) has sold 4 million copies. Both books have also been international sensations: there are 50 foreign-language licenses for the Inheritance cycle and together Eragon and Eldest have sold over 15.5 million copies worldwide.

Paolini will write a fourth book to conclude the Inheritance cycle. A publication date has not yet been planned.

Knowledge Economy, hmm……what kind is this? If separated knowledge and economy, knowledge its mean information about something and economy is always regarding to money, politic and company. So when these both of term have combined to be Knowledge Economy that’s still the same meaning? I think its May? (Maybe yes, maybe no..: D).

In my opinion, Knowledge Economy is a vague term, but I think knowledge is based on economy. In case of economy for people life. For example someone who has many knowledge, maybe they’re have high education or many experiences in their life, usually they have good economy (much money) than people who didn’t have many knowledge.

The basic of knowledge is language. We talk with other people used language. We learn something that we have to know about it with the language. For example, when we want to know about computer programming, we have to know about language program that computer can identify. Nowadays, the language is must have you can used, it is English. We cannot deny if English is become International language. When people wishing to improve their knowledge, their connection and their carrier, they have to understand about English. Its mean, good knowledge in English = good economy in your life?

Are all the people who used or born in English speaking country, whether economy have well in their life always?.

Hmm….not realy. I think its depends on of the people effort in their life and the fortune in their life. Many people in English speaking country are a poor people too. So, that’s mean we have to take action and have high effort to make our dream come true and have good economy in our life.

Some people say, knowledge is a prison and don’t know much is liberate. Because some people have many knowledge has feel afraid to do something and they just afraid to failed. But sometimes some people that don’t know much they more brave to try something. For example, Bill Gates he drop out from his University and decided to learn about computer and make some experiences and now it has been success. He isn’t much to know about computer before but he always learn again and again. And he never knows about in the future that he will become success person or not. And some people who has graduated from University sometimes afraid to begin to work or experiment because of thinks over and much plan, but not at all, its just some people.

What about your dreams? Become person with many knowledge and has brave heart to something in your life and have good economy in your life, or become person isn’t know much for anything? The choice was in you.

In Indonesia, the succesfull business icon, one of the icon is Mr. Bob Sadino. I think all the people in indonesia knew about him. and fortunately I meet him in a seminar to discuss about build own business in LIPI building - Bogor on March 16 2008.

Its very interesting, to hear the experience about his business and how to creat and starting the business. I cannot giving you the direct link about Mr. Bob Sadino but maybe you can google-him.

Back to the book, Netti & Elang try to write with the detail of business, like the based price of the material, cash flow etc.  I think this book is very relevan by now, actually Indonesia face the economic crisis and joblessness problem, have own business is a wisely  way out.

Review of Google Prenuer Book from the author Bob Julius Onggo

On Sunday Feb 17, I have bought a book in Gunung Agung Bogor Trade Mall, the book title is Google Preneur by Bob Julius Onggo. Well, I wish I can invest my money by buy this book because I realy need it. Yes, I need to upskill my knowledge about Internet marketing. I have plan to be Internet Marketer in 2-3 year later. So, I think I was taking a right way when I bought this book.

Mr. Bob write this book like he said in a seminar, so fast and straight to the point. I think for people when they are not friendly with internet its difficult enough to understood about this book, but if you often going to browsing internet you have to understood chapter by chapter.

For this time I think every people that have know internet, I trust they know about Google. Yes Google is celebrity in internet. Like Yahoo too booth of them the biggest search engine in internet. Every day many people searching in internet by Yahoo & Google. If you read in Mr. Bob website http://www.bjoconsulting.com/ he said when women from venus & men from Mars so now Women from Yahoo and Men from Google. Maybe someday Yahoo & Google will be merriage….hehehhe…

Back to the book, Mr Bob tells about how to increase the website to be high page rangking in Google or Yahoo also MSN with SEO (Search Engine Optimiser). And how to make our website can be in the first page ( Top 10) when the customers try to search our product in the internet. How?
He said, if we want to our website become top ten list in search engine, we have to submit the various keywords in our website. Yes! For 1 product may be you can find 100 or more keywords for called that product including if the customer write the wrong spelling in seach engine box. I think its very rasional to apply in our website.And then he explain too about the website that can help us to take SEO.

Generally, I take many information from this about, actually about my mindset if the real product can sell in internet its like a common strore in our real life. The product must be for company or corporate needs. So we can get order not one or two product but 100 item or more. He also give some sample the online store his own and that online store still survive and succeed until now even only promote in internet.

The perfection is only God’s own, eventhough generally this book is very good I think and a must have for people who wish to learn about Internet marketing, I disagree with his opinion on the back book cover. He said if the internet marketing is no needs money for first our invest. For learn Internet marketing needs a lot of money, for property like computer and then internet, electric, buy book literature and then our time,mind and our spirit to learn about Internet Marketing its needs more then a lot of money. When we have own store and we wish to promote to the internet we have to buy domain and bill to the hosting. And if we wish to shortcut to call a consultan to build our online store, we have to prepare alot of money too. I think the conclusion is never for free for everything, its needs a payment for all the things we needs in this world and for Internet marketing too.

Fuiih..I think I have written many words..ok I think enough, last but not least, This book is very good and I recommended for all people who wish to learn about internet marketing. When we have power knowledge about Internet marketing, to be rich is not Impossible anymore.

Law of Attraction by Michael J. Losier, maybe some people was often to hear regarding this, this book is one of the International Bestseller. I read this book in Indonesian version and become one of the my new collection books in 2008. Maybe be better if I read from original book but I cannot found the original version in Indonesia, but even though I read in another version I can catch the spirit from Losier when I read this book. This is not only about gravitation but in all our whole life, in everything, our life. This is about what the people realy wants in their life. Sometime some people never know about the realy want in life. So why people did not success, the reason is they cannot understand about the realy they wanted.

In this book, Losier try to explain about how can people understand about they realy want in their life by contras. Yes, contras or opposite about the things. Like and dislike, wanted and unwanted. You can make the list about your like and dislike by list form, and the form you can get on the Law of Attraction website: www.Lawofattractionbook.com You can make 500 list about that, and then you must erase list about the thing that you hate and you only have the list everything you want. Its easy? Hehehehe..maybe better you read this book by your self.

The second book….Ups..maybe I was late to review about this. The spectacular book in 2007. Oprah review this book in her tv show..and give the good comment, and every books store, reader books mailing list etc, The Secret succeed become a hot gossip. I will not review about The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, I just talk about the same thing of two books, the Secret between Low of Attraction. When you have been read the both, you can found The Secret also talk about Law of attraction, the differenciency is; in The Secret Rhonda Byrne interview the famous people to talk about this. For further information about this book you can visit :www.thesecret.tv, you can get an empty check and fill it with everything you want to fill, 100 Million Dollar? 1000 Million or more? Anything.. and the how can you reach the check become reality? You better read the book page by page and understading with all the speaker said.

Quantum Ikhlas by Erbe Sentanu , the latest book from Indonesia, I have no yet finished read this book, but this book has the same spirit with the both book beforehand particularly with The Secret. I just listen AMAZING Focus from the CD. This book completed by CD, Amazing Focus apply for people who want to concentrate or before to do something with the clear mind. The CD content is the sound of birds, water fall, sea.. froks…musics..relaxing, sometime I sleep when I listen this CD..:D. Ok..thats enough for now, I will tell about another book if I have money to buy new books..hehehhe… and continueing about the Quantum Ikhlas when I finished read this book.

Trettett...trettettt....Happy New Year 2008!

Yeah.., this is New year eve..2008, new plan, new books, new spirit..and I wish new sallary..hehehe..:D

When I remembering about my life in last year, i realized that I was made some big mistakes in my life, but sometime we cannot controled everything, anything happen..just happening..

Yeah..in 2007, I have many experiences that imposible to forget..

But, at least I still life as I believe & on the right track to wolk on by my life

Just let it flow...ok?
